He led with his smile and danced with his tongue, 
He wore velcro shoes and covered them up, 
With a fast car and a black suit and his black book was turning yellow. 
He had quicksand in the palm of his hands. 

His name spelt your mistake, 
And you were added to the black book. 
Try and sift your way, 
Through this shredded city. 

The past knows, 
But he is nowhere near that place 
He lies, 
Swamped in the fake truth of today, 
The past knows, 
That he is lying through his teeth. 

The con man had a mark on his head, 
And his conscience it became less and less. 
He was the prince of and he dealt with the seven deadly sins. 
He led the innocent down bottomless pits. 

His name spelt your mistake, 
And you were added to the black book.

Clasping at the stem of a dandilion, 
I wished for poisin but what I got was a catalyst to fuel my life. 

Hope returned from the perfect storm, 
They made it through the night but they still got burned, 
That maiden voyage lost as sea so lets sit and watch the tables turn. 

There’s no time for this in today’s world,

They throw stones in puddles I’ve struggled to sail.

‘Til you follow what your influence says. 

We’re just scared to loose a life that’s not, 
Placed itself in our path as we fall, 
Lets release the leach and hunt the woods for more,
