Chelsea Grin's frontman Tom Barber and Spite's drummer Josh Miller have launched a project together in 2020 under the name of "Darko US" and ever since they've put out some of the most creative and original material within the Metal music scene. Their recent release "Shanghai" is no exception, delivering a 5 minutes of blast beats and heavy vocals that has a strong and heartfelt message all directed by the animation and CGI expert, Norbert Crowfield (who also worked with the guys on Mars Attacks) it's only after listening to the techno intro that inspired me to add my own « sauce » to the record. Autektone Dark continues its mission of delivering uncompromising techno with MENNØ’s explosive new EP, featuring two powerful cuts that channel rebellion, frustration, and raw underground energy: “Society!” (with SHØ) and “Fuckin Society.”

The title track “Society!”, created in collaboration with SHØ, is a high-octane techno / peaktime weapon — driven by pounding kicks, metallic synth stabs, and a dystopian vocal message that echoes through the breakdown. The atmosphere is tense and industrial, exploding back into a relentless groove that feels both chaotic and controlled — a sonic reflection of modern-day pressure and resistance.

On the flip side, “Fuckin Society” pushes things even harder. MENNØ goes fully uncompromising here, blending acidic basslines, distorted vocal shots, and hammering percussion into a track that screams rave defiance. It’s darker, dirtier, and designed to destroy the late-night warehouse floors.

Together, the two tracks form a statement EP — fierce, rebellious, and unmistakably raw — showing MENNØ’s evolution as a producer who’s not afraid to challenge both sound and structure.
