LAMNT embraces the grit of the indie garage rock roots which they are currently digging. They are in the process of producing and releasing their debut project, titled The Basement Cuts. The project is a five part collection of five track E.P.s. This collection is aptly named after the location where band members JB, Logan, and Nathan write, perform and produce their tracks.

BASEMENT CUT - L.i.V: throwing our lives away to paint speaks to when we choose to pursue one thing we are choosing to leave something else behind. LAMNT explores the tension of wondering if that which was left behind is worth more than what is being pursued.

BASEMENT CUT - A.ii.IV: dreams don’t cost a thing is an encapsulation of the simple earnestness within the dreams we dream. Weather it be young love, obsessive ambition, or desiring to see a version of yourself come to life. We also explore how the pursuit will come at a cost.

BASEMENT CUT - M.iii.III: myself and I don’t need you is looks at many topics: depression, addiction, loneliness, but mostly it is an exploration into selfishness and how obsession with one’s self is inherently connected to these other feelings.

BASEMENT CUT - N.iv.II: feel like a kid is a tribute to nostalgia. The happiness it brings to relive the feelings of the past mixed with the sadness associated with the impossibility of recapturing those moments that are gone forever.

BASEMENT CUT - T.v.I: sad songs is a fitting end to a debut for a band named after lamenting.
