Do What You Came To Do...

Unashamedly 80’s pop, from a band that were there first time around!

Formed in the early 80's by school friends Jon Williams and Simon Baker, originally under the name 'Teknicolor', before becoming 'This Blue World' in the late 80's, taking the name from one of their songs. 

The band had various line ups over the years with the core members always remaining Simon and Jon. 

Sadly, despite a keen following and a cache of hooky earworm songs, fame eluded them and, as so often happens, life and responsibilities overtook their attempts to break into the commercial market. 

However, the hunger never went away and the intervening years have given a lifetime of experience and emotions that have now provided the foundation for new tracks and a revisiting and rejuvenation of some of the older standards. 

This Blue World are back

Blending pop, rock and ballads with orchestration and drama,  the songs are chronicles of the heart, mind and emotions with every one a secret story.
