Al and Ian on BBC Radio York, after This Happy Breed won the 'Soundtrack 90' competition. Recorded at the time onto a tape by Lisa, in a flat on Bootham. Turned into a digital copy and uploaded to Soundcloud by Lisa (www.yorkstories.co.uk) in Feb 2014.

How I wish whoever recorded it had used a C90 instead of a C60, then 'Ocean' wouldn't have been rudely cut off just as it got going ... have tried to repair, but there's a big chunk missing where the tape had to be turned over.

Hurrah, after much searching in a huge bag of old cassettes the favourite THB tape was found. Don't know where this live recording was made, but think I was there, and think it was in York. Or maybe I just want to think I was there.
