This song is about the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, but more importantly, the deeper metaphor inside that process. When a caterpillar forms its chrysalis, it completely dissolves before reforming into something new. To me, that’s such a powerful reflection of human change — how sometimes we need to fully break down in order to grow into our next form. I wanted this song to feel both meditative and theatrical, something people could sing along with while also learning calming chants to carry with them. It’s both a personal mantra and a shared celebration of transformation.
