Hot Since 82 kicks off 2015 with an eerie new original featuring the vocals of Alex Mills and accompanied by a killer remix from current star of the underground Detlef. The Core features in part 2 of strangely chilling 'Sleepwalker' short film the Yorkshireman released via his Facebook last week. VIVa resident and Ibiza favourite Detlef, turns in an absolute gem of a rework, and most notably one of this year's BPM most played.

The Core is taken from "Knee Deep In Sound", his debut mix album which is a joint release on his own label of the same name, and Ultra. The album includes 4 Hot Since 82 exclusives, new material from a number of acts he's A+R'd, and several new gems he signed especially for the release.

Few DJs have blazed such a singular path to stardom as Hot Since 82. He's graced the cover of Mixmag, performed live with a string quartet, nailed two Essential Mixes, served up several Beatport No.1s, and even kidnapped fans for his amazing TAKEN project which SOLD OUT in 30mins flat. We’re really buzzed up about our next release on Etiquette from US House sensation, Kevin Knapp, who makes his debut on the label with his ‘Heads Up’ EP. There are few DJs who have as much passion and dedication to the industry as Kevin. He’s a constant pioneer of the genre with releases on respected labels; Hot Creations, Sola, Repopulate Mars & Crosstown Rebels, as well as playing renowned events at prolific venues across the globe. Hannah Wants has always been a champion of Kevin’s music; continually supporting his tracks throughout her DJ sets, so it’s with welcome arms that we enlist Kevin Knapp into the Etiquette family. The EP kicks off with title track ‘Heads Up’ which inflicts a contagious bassline over layered synths and shuffling drum sequences. ‘Peaches’ completes the EP, offering hooky, reverberating vocals from Hutchtastic over shuffling hats, oscillating synths and a rumbling low-end throughout.
