About Anna Schreit
Anna was born and raised in Berlin, into a family of a musician who exposed her to a diverse range of music genres from a very young age. Her father's art rock band was one of her earliest influences, shaping her understanding of music and its various forms.
Despite living in the techno capital, it was actually during a trip to Munich that Anna was introduced to the world of electronic music. It was here that she discovered the exotic sounds of house music, which proved to be a turning point for her musical journey. She was captivated by the diverse sub-genres within house music, and it became a defining characteristic of her style - constantly diving and resurfacing through a multitude of sub-genres.
After falling in love with the endless possibilities of house music, Anna began DJing in 2012 to share the tracks she had collected and built up over the years. Her goal was to create immersive experiences and take her listeners on unique journeys through her sets. With a passion for music that runs deep, Anna continues to explore and experiment with new sounds, always striving to evolve and push the boundaries of what's possible within electronic music!

This box-set serves as proof of that achievement: Dozens of producers, DJs, label owners and companions sent us their thoughts, dedications and quotes.

In fact, Compost is known worldwide for being the pioneer of the future jazz genre. The very successful and highly acclaimed compilation-series like "Future Sounds Of Jazz", "Glücklich", "Elaste" or "Party Keller" are still timeless highlights.

For the 20 years anniversary we published a book - five years later, we put the music into focus even more again: The idea was to ask esteemed artists to reinterpret their favorite Compost tunes. So we are excited about getting both talented young artists and many of our all-time favorite producers involved in this project. Alongside the remixes and sold out vinyl label-classics, there are a few exclusive tracks in this strongly limited, hand numbered 10x12'' box. In addition, you can explore the impressive label history and background stories in the liner notes written by Michael Reinboth himself. “We welcome Sam Paradise with his EP “Valencia” to Satta Records.This is the artist’s first solo EP which includes a remix by the artist LOG from Paris.Sam produced this EP while he was living in Valencia for a year. Spending the days in the park and on the beach and the nights in the old town of Valencia gave him the inspiration to create the jazzy and hypnotic house sound on this EP.

Each track on the “Valencia” EP is a creative journey, a soundtrack composed for different areas in Valencia: The previously released EP teaser “Capcalera” is dedicated to the “Parc de la Capcalera”, while the tracks on the EP are the equivalent for the beaches of “Malvarrosa” and  “Patacona” and for Valencia’s medieval quarter “El Carmen”, in which Sam used to live.

Sam is also part of the Valencia-based house label “theBasementDiscos”, where he’s the A&R and thus is having a big impact on the musical style of the label. He helped to bring the label back on track after a 3 years break from releasing music and make it one of the most important house labels in Spain.” – Satta Records
