I just found out that Bill Withers passed away. Many years ago, I wrote this song to process my own poppa passing. It samples “Grandma’s Hands”. I couldn’t get through the first verse without choking up. Until now, it's gathered dust on my hard drive. No day seems more appropriate to release it to the heavens than today.
