this is a pretty great intro you ever hear of lotus kind of similiar but youre more distinct in sound, idk give em a listen maybe get some ideas u can mix around

Phlow - Phlowetic Justice (prod. by Teck-Zilla)

A vintage look at life through laid back tone and sepia soundscapes, Lexington, Kentucky based MC Allen Poe and Nigerian born/Montreal based producer Teck Zilla team up for the new EP "Light Bulb Over My Head While I'm Thinking." Littered across the beats are snippets from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's speech about the conscious mind, which is the entry point for Poe to touch off his various thoughts about...well, thought. From inner reflections on what to pass along to his children to musings about being socially awkward, the objective is to explore that caricature "light bulb" over one's head while mid-thought. As philosophically charged as as it sounds, AP and Teck carry a light tone and relaxed vibe throughout. Featured artists are Nashville's Jung Youth, Queens MC/Producer Hannibal King and Nigerian singer Maka.

For her first single of the year, soulful singer/songwriter Maka delivers a beautifully hypnotizing new track, “Sinner.” The track features her fellow Lagosian artist Boogey, with production supplied by the  Nigerian-born beatsmith, Teck-Zilla.

All parties involved are at the top of their respective games here as Maka guides the tune with her stunning vocals and relatable lyricism. When she sings, “This thing called life, is not black and white/ I am just a human, tryin’ to do what’s right,” you can feel the pain and contemplation in her voice, and it’s an emotion so many of us have felt in our lives. 

To that point, Maka says of the track: “Like most of my songs, I want to write about something everyone could relate to. ‘Sinner’ talks about the vulnerability of humans and how imperfect we are.”

“I had always wanted to put that in a song so when Teck played the beat, I knew that was the right track for the concept," she adds, noting the uplifting production from Teck-Zilla. Boogey captured the concept perfectly as well. His vivid rhymes are quirky, yet full of reflection, as he too struggles with trying to be perfect while seeking redemption.

Sinner (feat. Boogey) [prod. by Teck-Zilla]

Kendrick Lamar's Billboard hit gets remixed by Nigerian rapper, Fecko. "Ogbeni Joko" meaning "Sit Down" is one slang you would find yourself reciting subconsciously after listening to this jam - amidst other sick punchlines. Enjoy!

Fecko recently teamed up with veteran Nigerian artiste/producer, Pherowshuz, on a EP. The project which is still in the production phase will feature a collection of great songs - fusing various genres together. The first official song taken off the EP is titled 'Jofunmi', entirely performed by Fecko while it was produced, mixed and mastered by Pherowshuz.

'Jofunmi' is a feel good song which urges the ladies to dance and basically have fun. The indigenous funky sound is a blend of melodic rap and afro pop.
