 I recorded this version in a very tumultuous time, where again and again in a very short period, I had the feeling that the earth under my feet was taken away, and after receiving another blow of life, this song was carrying me like a ship on the ocean, reminding me with every sentence how precious life was, and bringing me back to the very essence of my being, beyond all the drama's that were unfolding simultaneously. Very grateful for Peia to birth this song and offer it as a light on our journeys. I recorded just a few hours after receiving the last 'unfortunate' news, diving as deep as i could in the essence of the lyrics, melody and allowing my voice to bring healing to myself in that moment.

It was my prayer in that moment - a prayer of gratitude, of going beyond, of returning to source, of stepping out of victimhood, and into self-responsibility, and self-love, no matter how challenging the situation might seem.

Based in the county of Dalarna, Sweden, Fia Forsström (known mononymously as Fia) is a spiritual singer/songwriter who with her inspirational lyrics and catchy melodies has a unique way of weaving music that empowers the listener to drop deeper into themselves and find their own medicine. Since the release of her debut album "Made of Stars" (2016) Fia has been touring worldwide and continues to touch hearts wherever she goes. Building a solid platform through social media and word of mouth, Fia took her place as one of the leading voices on the spiritual music scene with ”Legacy of Light” (2017) and ”Waterfall of Wisdom” (2019), both of them, like the debut, recorded and released through crowdfunding. It is with joy she welcomes us into her mystical sphere, devoted to reminding us of our magic.
 Fia was born in 1994 in Kista, Sweden. She began playing the oboe and writing songs at the age of 10. During her teenage years she picked up the guitar and piano being part of different ensembles while attending the music program at Westerlundska High School. She released her solo debut ”Made of Stars” in 2016 independently with the support of fans, and in 2017 Fia garnered even more widespread acclaim with the follow up ”Legacy of Light”. At this point Fia was a known name in the spiritual and world music community and her star continued to rise with ”Waterfall of Wisdom” released in 2019 which wrapped up the acoustic album trilogy.

  In 2020, her music was featured in a meditation app developed by the University of California Santa Barbara Center for Mindfulness and Human Potential, bringing her songs to high school students all over the US.

Spring 2021 Fia brought us a new flavor when she presented her two singles "Root" and "Faces of Strangers", both electro sounding in contrast to her acoustic trilogy.  December 2021 she continued on the same track, releasing her EP "MEDICINE - chants for the modern mystic" , produced, arranged, mixed and mastered by Robert "Himlakropp" Eklund.

Early 2022 gave us the glistening jewel of "Glorious One" a symphonic sounding single paired with an exquisite music video filmed above the arctic circle in Sweden. September she released another EP, this time singing original chants in her mother tongue, again in successful collaboration with Robert "Himlakropp" Eklund.
