Ahead of their album release, Icarus present their new single ‘Every Part Of You’. 

With their last few releases having showcased the harder, more club focused capabilities of the duo's production, ‘Every Part Of You’ celebrates the acclaimed “Icarus sound” that fans know and love. The elegant vocals of rising talent Julia Church are punctuated sparingly throughout, serving to compliment the intricate instrumentation rather than take the lead. Combining layers of pulsing synths, delicate atmospheres and dancing melodies that weave back and forth, ‘Every Part Of You’ is as uplifting as it is melancholic.

After 1111’s recent explosion onto the scene, with her latest single ‘Against The Wall’ (a collaboration with electronic artist Biianco) going viral on social media and picking up huge support from club and radio DJs alike, it’s easy to hear why so many tastemakers are championing her unique sound.

Whilst staying true to the garage feel of the original, 1111 ramps up the production with hard hitting drums, an enormous bassline and an acid style arpeggiator that takes the energy of this rework into the stratosphere!

Kloyd puts her spin on Icarus’s ‘Dominoes’, taken from their sophomore Album ‘Change’. 

‘I was instantly drawn to the rhythmic vocal stems and used these as the foundation of rebuilding the track without ego or self-censorship. I felt a 4/4 would give the original a different angle, incorporating my own playful melodic ideas innocently alongside the vocal. Importantly, I set out to have fun creating this remix, allowing the ideas to flow in order to naturally re-imagine Icarus’s original.’
