“Hank Rubeé x Cameron Shull’s “Mop Water” is a result of being absolutely bored out of my mind. In this algorithm era of music, it’s really impossible to see what is ‘new’ and ‘fresh’ in an experimental era of rap. I made sure that everything I created is something you’ve never really heard before in an attempt to push the boundaries of what we already know about music. Why is something that’s 10 years old still considered experimental? If we recreate what we know as experimental, is it still experimental? To me, not at all. Rapping , auto crooning, and screaming over very odd/no time signatures, with hardcore, noise, black metal, and significant ‘The Beatles White Album’ influence, ‘Mop Water’ must be an entertaining listen, at the very least. If it is boring, then my approach has failed.”
