The annual Rhythm Society campout themed, "Dance Camp," was held September 18-20. Saturday night's all night festivities started with a drum circle which lead to an opening ceremony and some tribal music and funky house from @Adi-Shakti.

Leading in from such a great vibe, I decided to do a bit more of a whimsical set with some of the usual electro breaks sprinkled in the middle. And since my friend @GhostSquadron was following me, I left a surprise for him…and the crowd.

We are very sad we wont be playing at our favourite venue on the Planet this year due to the pandemic so we've made a little Mix to make up for it.

The Snug is situated in a little corner of Beatherdershire where for the last few years we've been very lucky to do a Friday Night takeover bringing along a few of our good friends including Monster Monster, Fallback & Feline.  Without doubt this is one of the best venues in the festival with friendly vibes and great atmosphere all weekend long.

We will miss the Snug and all the crew this year but hopefully catch up on the other side.

Three years on from his latest solo outing, Crazy P founder member Chris Todd AKA Hot Toddy returns to House of Disco with a predictably fine four-tracker. Our pick of a very strong bunch is the toughened up, revivalist electrofunk flex of "Wilde Touch", where clipped guitar riffs, crunchy Clavinet lines and colourful melodies ride a rubbery bassline, though the Paper Recordings-era Crazy P deep house/disco fusion of "Still We Are" is almost as impressive. Speaking of Crazy P, lead singer Danielle Moore lends her distinctive vocals to the Imagination-ish Brit-boogie business of "Positive Emotion", while the EP's other track, opener "Synthesize", is a darker and more spaced-out chunk of weighty, bassline-driven nu-boogie goodness.
