STILL GOT IT

I move slowly, mind sorting words 
a poet concerned, pain describes life on this earth
verbs and nouns hound my mental, verse profound and gentle
reminisce, for happiness shall cease to exist 
this snapshot of my thought, description depicting
emotions, conceived then molded, a tale told
with language on pages i wage my war
a thousand pens fall victim, buried deep in my drawer 
i breath silence, sirens conclude the violence
manifest my destiny, with God sitting next to me
bless loose-leafs with free speech thats deep in spirit
chalked full of emotions I catch a tear when i hear it
i fear placing too much of self upon my manuscript
but i handle it, grip it tight and brandish it
emcee's quick to spit that outlandish shit, its fiction
let the gavel hit, time to face my jurisdiction 
see foul skeptics scour my vowels with scowls and rape
my tape, step in the booth, reappear with a cape
escape my dire straights riding bass kicks and strings
often wonder, who i would be if i had everything
a king among men, grip the quill and amend
the document to blend sophistication with the violins
when i invent, diction is an affliction that torments 
lament over every word, until im content
bent on perfection, cause this is a reflection of self
its how i deal,  no one chose the cards they were dealt
so i tighten my belt, i must conduct my struggle on a higher plane
with dignity and discipline, as said by Dr. King.
and by any means my team convenes to attack
my voice the gat aimed dead square at Uncle Sam's back.

im back and ready, a bad ass with every
intent to aim it steady blast to your stomach to speghetti
whether your ready or not, ive got a vendetta to settle
ill do whatever it takes to rhyme incredible
your words they got me ragin, 
used to place it on the page, but im debating if i should smash your face in
this time, i think i will, id like to watch your blood spill
and splash i massacre anyone coming to  test my skill
then pop a pill, to chill once i proved my words are real
unleash the beast on beats to  show how words can kill
my competitors better meditate in the head or wind up dead
and bleeding under reams of paper marked up with ink and lead
