im centered on the time i have, not much is left
scared, cause even clark kent couldn't stand up to death
strive to bring to life the thoughts i keep inside of me
but halfway across the nation sits my heart, and thats reality
its cold in the winter, will it ever feel the same again
aint even depressed less than weakness, i just need a friend
who knows the pain, lived the life i do and feels the same
to many fucking actors pack the gat to walk the streets and claim 
they as real as me, plus they as hard as any
its difficult to find a few good men in many
where the gin be, toxins inside my bloodstream
smoke still resides in my lungs as im coughing
ghosts of my past fast to formulate a plot 
but my wisdom super seeds superstition, through my voice box
faced the hard times through my rhymes line after line
wording nouns and verbs while the herb burns alive
this is my fight, you aint living in my position
my struggle adds description to my depth and definition 
now im sitting reminiscing, heart full of regret
upset cause im the last one left

its too much, im tired and my energies gone
all alone in this city where i pretend to be strong
and back home, people miss me or they diss me
i try not to stress it while i watch the herb smoke bless my lips
  

  when im down, it helps my self loathing knowing my strength
my family and friends they feel the same way
and someday, when i grow into these shoes that i made
ill reminisce to the campus where i spent my first days
to the place and time when i suffocated from my mind
memories had tendencies to blur my vision blind
signs of an immature man forced to grow up
i didnt get invited to this world i just showed up
so stuck, out a luck and with my crew across states
makes me anxious, unable to look the mirror in the face
eyes burning from the nights i couldnt sleep, feeling weak
with weeks ahead full of tests, the futures looking bleak
but the meek shall inherit the earth, so i stayed chill
tried to live in the real, maybe eat a couple meals
appitite for self-distruction, had me losing weight
alone forced to roam streets of concrete and contemplate
my existence, elevated my mental fitness
sought out the holy scriptures, and made God my witness
now im sittin reminiscing, heart full of regret
upset, cause im the last one left
