So who are we and what do we know about the year abroad to be sharing all this advice with you? All will be answered in this first episode where we give you an introduction to who we are, as well as playing some of our favourite songs from our time abroad and sharing our advice on those first steps towards your amazing experience away.

The Study Abroadcast: Episode 2 - Becca and Arjai tell us all about their experiences in Taiwan and Costa Rica!

In this show, we deep dive into the lives of two students preparing to go on a year abroad next year! Maddy is a second year student studying Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American studies and is planning on going to Portugal next year, and Holly is a first year student studying French and Japanese and is planning to go to Japan next year.

Join us for some really useful top tips on all aspects of the preparation process for the year abroad (especially essential visa advice!!). We also played a game of true and false with common assumptions about the year abroad and gave the girls some advice that will be super helpful to them and anyone else preparing to go on a year abroad!

The Study Abroadcast Episode 3 - We help Maddy and Holly prepare for their year abroad!

It's our last show of the semester and Dina had the pleasure of interviewing three of Leeds' many international students to deep dive into what it's like to study in Leeds from overseas. Mandy and Lilli are exchange students from Germany who are only in Leeds for the semester, and Gabriel is a student from Kenya studying his full degree in Leeds. 

They all shared so much useful advice that will help any international students in Leeds (plus those looking to come to Leeds in the future), and Dina had so much fun talking to them!

At the start of this show we took part in a challenge as part of LSR's Festive Face-off, but this has been edited out of the recording and will be posted on our Instagram for anyone who wants to know how we did.
