Born in St. Louis, MO, Metane began his career from very humble beginnings. Being raised by a single mother, he started taking his thoughts and experiences and writing them down.  By the age of twelve he noticed that he had a passion for words and started putting them in to song form ready for recording. His songwriting became a reality when he began to perform at the age of fourteen at various venues throughout the Midwest. Metane has shared the stage with many well-known artists throughout his career, and has headlined many events, made guest appearances, won talent competitions, and performed on the nationally syndicated show "Americas Got Talent". Metane can now be seen on BETs television series "One Shot" hosted by Hip-Hop ambassador Sway Calloway, as he strives to take his career to the next level.
