Singer/Songwriter Vanessa-Naomi was born in Zurich, Switzerland to an Egyptian- Cenral African father and a Native Indo-French Caribbean mother, and  the second of three children. Growing up, she was encouraged to explore the arts, taking ballet classes, acting lessons, and learning the piano. Splitting her childhood between Switzerland, the USA, and the UK, she developed a deep connection to Anglo-Saxon culture, which shaped her musical journey. Influenced by iconic soul, RnB and jazz artists like Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston,Aretha Franklin, Jill Scott, CeCe Winans, Alicia Keys, Brandy and many more Vanessa began crafting her own sound, blending her experiences with her family's rich musical background. Music became her therapy, an outlet for expressing life’s deeper emotions.
