I try to take at most 1 to 2 hours each day to do these creative sessions and come up with a short track that focuses on one area of production I want to improve on.

I tried focusing on producing something as quickly as possible and just letting the track go wherever it went. Going forward since there's still so much for me to learn, it feels like focusing on quantity and playing with all types of sounds / effects / music theory / etc is better to learn quickly than focusing a ton of time on a single track over the course of a week or more.

Far from great but focusing on continuing to progress each day.

This is a build I never made a drop for that I worked on back in June. Just found it in my project folder and still dig it. If anyone wants to take it and make a drop off of it that'd be awesome!

Creative Sessions 06-22-2021

Today marks just about 6 months of actively producing since starting over a year ago, taking some long breaks and getting back into it in June! I've been non-stop trying to improve my ear, sound design and rhythm with lots of help from more experienced friends.

This track Osaka was inspired after I discovered some far east instruments I liked recently and started playing around with them. After a few days, this is the result! A mix of a bunch of natural instruments and some hybrid trap / dubstep.
