To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label’s storied past and the stars of its future, as a seminal record from the Defected catalogue, Johnny Corporate’s ‘Sunday Shoutin’’, receives a remix from London-born multi-instrumentalist and house maverick TSHA. The legacy of the definitive underground house track ‘Sunday Shoutin’’ is vastly documented, with its unmistakeable saxophone loop still heard at clubs approaching 25 years later. Having already received remixes from the likes of Sonny Fodera, Harry Romero and Dr Packer, TSHA now joins the pantheon of house greats by delivering a transformative remix, cementing her status as one of electronic music’s most exciting innovators. After earning numerous Breakthrough Act awards in her early career to gracing the covers of Mixmag and DJ Mag, including features in Billboard, NME, Crack, Billboard, The Observer, and more, TSHA’s immense, international touring schedule continues to attract global crowds who come in droves for her flourishing sound, as heard in her long-awaited debut album ‘Capricorn Sun’ on Ninja Tune in 2023. Her highly anticipated remix of ‘Sunday Shoutin’’, recently teased in her Defected In The House! Ibiza stream which relaunched the iconic series, continues to showcase the fresh and bold sound of TSHA. Producer and electronic music artist Rules steps up to D4 DANCE with ‘Close My Eyes’. Recognised for his mix of warm and ethereal sounds combining a blend of house music influences, Rules has amassed over 70 million streams with his music so far including remixes for Diplo and a remix from Radio 1's resident DJ Arielle Free. This past year has seen Rules build a noticeable presence online through his captivating performances of unofficial edits and bootlegs where he is clearly forging a name for himself in the electronic music scene. His latest production, ‘Close My Eyes’ is perfectly suited to the London label with its warm synths and earworm vocal - as the track builds in hypnotic ecstasy, groove-laden rhythms come to the fore to create a distinct D4 D4NCE record.

Adam Ten and Rafael land on DFTD with the modern club heater ‘Call 911’. Known for their lengthy and genre-expansive sets in the underground scene of their home countries, both are celebrated as artists in their own right; Adam Ten for his underground edge demonstrated during previous shows at fabric London, Club Space Miami, SXM Festival and Circoloco with upcoming sets at Junction 2 and Brunch Electronik for summer 2024. His sound reached a wider UK audience with the release of ‘Toys’, in collaboration with Rafael in April 2024, with a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix also landing around the single. The Beatport #1 also attracted much attention for Rafael, with a recent US and Latin America tour cementing him as a heavy hitter internationally. Now collaborating once more, this time on London’s DFTD, the pair unveil ‘Call 911’, a techy, frenetic, and powerful club track that is sure to make an impact.
