Sounds of Soulace

Born out of a love for intimate parties in the underground scene, both in the UK and across Europe, the crew have always had a clear direction & vision for the brand.

E1 London, Bloc and 93 Feet East to name a few, in recent years you could have found a Soulace party in some of London’s finest venues. Recent guests have included the likes of Djebali, Chris Stussy, Prunk, Michael James & Burnski, whilst also welcoming a wide range of upcoming local talent to the fray. The brand keeps a finger on the pulse and prides itself on consistently curating a perfect blend of established and upcoming artists; keeping the crowd on their toes.

The backbone of any party is the resident DJs. The roster includes Jeffery, Madz, Josh Gordon & Harry Try. All have become successful in their own rights’ playing and releasing music for a variety of different London outfits. Throughout this new residency, each of these DJs will have the chance to share their variety in taste; playing a collection of influential records both old and new.

Whether it’s releasing original music or mixes on their “Sounds Of…” series, even with COVID restrictions Soulace like to keep busy.

The 'Sounds of...' series returns for a long overdue edition with our resident since day 1; MADZ.

His infectious, distinctive sound is exactly why he's a fan favourite at Soulace, and a whole host of other London outfits. He's now a regular feature across the UK and his releases are being supported from the likes of Casey Spillman, Azaad & a variety of tastemakers throughout the country.

S10: Sounds of... MADZ

The 'Sounds of...' is back for the first edition of 2022. S11 features our very own Co-Founder... Jeffery. 

His sound draws influence from the wide variety of parties, venues & tastemakers he’s worked with over the years, and this set showcases very first solo SOS mix. Diving between a unique combination of house music sub-genres, Jeffery creates a blend which has become the signature sound for our party.

SO1: Sounds of... Jamie Trench

We return with the second issue of our 'Sounds of...' series, and this time round it's our resident Jeffery alongside Laurence (OOZ).

The duo enjoy playing together on a regular basis, combining their sounds to produce a vibe that represents the deeper, darker sounds of Soulace. With a combination of handpicked tracks both new & old, this collaboration was an opportunity for the pair to showcase a wide variety of house & techno that represents themselves as artist's.

After raising the roof when closing our last party in June, expect to see this b2b again soon in the near future....

A good friend of the Soulace family, Azaad has been playing the London circuit & promoting the sound that we love since we began 2 years ago. We now launch the SFD series, a new collection of tracks chosen by us and made available for Free Download.

This will feature a wide range of work from some of our favourite up and coming artists, who we will feel best portray our sound.

SFD001 / MADZ - Kindness Is Free

In at #5 of the 'Sounds of...' series, we welcome Italian selector Loosemat, coming through with some funky minimal and house flavours.

Head honcho of the dutch brand 'RLP', Loosemat first appeared on our radar when he invited our resident Jeffery to play alongside him in Leiden. Since then, he has played across Europe in a wide variety of venues. Most recently, a trip to London has seen his following grow and grow, and were excited to see what the future brings.

This unique sound is a blend that we love and want to hear much more of in the near future. Enjoy the music and keep your eyes peeled for a very exciting SO6 on the horizon...
