In true crew fashion the EP is served up with 2 stellar remixes from Seb Zito and Herck - Seb Zito takes the track deep into late night territory while Herck serves up his trademark sound across an 8 minute paragon.

Carloh makes his Hottrax debut this April with the groove-laden ‘Ritmo Rico’. 

Hailing from Ecuador, Carloh’s infectious, Latin-infused take on house has landed on labels such as Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, and Desolat whilst picking up support from Marco Carola, LEON, Paco Osuna and more. Now, Jamie Jones’ Hottrax welcomes the South American DJ and producer to the family with his three-track EP, ‘Ritmo Rico’. 

“The ‘Ritmo Rico’ EP is inspired by Colombian flavours and influences, with subtle elements that give it native characteristics that represent both myself and South America. The tracks combine classic house with modern Latin American elements to showcase three versatile dancefloor cuts’’ - Carloh 

Title track ‘Ritmo Rico’ is a swinging number boasting tumbling percussion, alluring lyrics and playful keys, before elastic basslines layered under popping hats, claps, and stirring samples take the reigns in ‘Backlash’. To close, the snaking ‘BBY’ serves up convulsing low-ends, graceful pads and chopped vocals in this slick, rolling cut.

The heavy hitting talent is fresh from his own two track Freak Beater EP on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' Hot Creations. He’s on the remix for Mihalis Safras' crew once again following his Cristoph - 'Get Up' remix in 2016. Barato step ups into the creative process to give his own twist to the De La Swing original 'Bambooda'. Driven by a dry drum kit and a quirky low-end element, it's a certified roof raiser. Making his long awaited return to the AVOTRE imprint, Sidney Charles throws down a huge three track EP of club weapons, sure to have a huge impact from Ibiza to Berlin and back again throughout summer 2018 and beyond. 

Opening with the aptly names ‘Raw Rhythm’ Sidney quickly sets the pace of this release. A mood setting intro quickly gives way to a plethora of heavy basslines and masterfully produced beat interludes all precisely laid on under waves of eclectic synths. 

Rounding off the release, Sidney brings in master producer and long-time studio buddy Hector Moralez to feature on the club ready ‘Carlitos 909’. Keeping the vibes of the release strictly underground, ‘Carlitos 909’ is a pure demonstration of Sidney’s now instantly recognisable production style, while still being fully cohesive to the AVOTRE sound.
