We are immensely proud to be releasing this record. Following the tragic news that legendary US vocalist Kathy Brown is fighting stage 4 cancer, we wanted to give something back to an artist who musically we have all grown up with, and respect greatly. With that in mind, we have decided to release this record with all profits going to Kathy’s ‘GoFundMe’ campaign to help pay for her health care fees. All the original writers have allocated all publishing earnings, with the artists and Toolroom also pledging all of their royalties, in the quest to get Kathy back on the road to a full recovery. The record itself oozes fun and good times, which is what Kathy’s music has always been about. Wh0, Mark Knight & James Hurr provide the backing whilst Kathy ’s iconic 'Turn Me Out’ vocal rides away effortlessly over the top.

I’m really excited to share with you my latest track, House of 42 Doors. This song is very personal to me—it’s a journey through emotions, a space that’s both comforting and mysterious, a place where time slows down and every moment matters.

The lyrics are about a house with 42 doors, a place where no one else can enter or leave except for the two of us. Each door represents a thought, a memory, or an emotion. Sometimes life feels exactly like that—full of locked doors, and the only way forward is to find your own key. That’s what this track is about: patience, connection, trust, and the little victories of discovering your own way.

When I wrote this, I wanted to capture that feeling of being simultaneously safe and trapped, of being alone with someone in a world that feels paused. Musically, I reflected that journey: the track starts soft and meditative, calm like the quiet before sunrise, and gradually grows deeper, more melodic, more immersive. The bassline swells, layers of sound come together, and the music carries you through this mysterious house, door by door, thought by thought, emotion by emotion.

Every time I listen to it, I feel like I’m wandering those corridors, searching for a key, enjoying the quiet, feeling the tension, and then letting the release wash over me. It’s a track for anyone who wants to escape, reflect, or simply get lost in the music. Whether you’re studying, working, driving late at night, or just sitting quietly with your thoughts, I hope House of 42 Doors takes you somewhere special.

This song is also about patience and presence. Sometimes we rush through life looking for answers or solutions, but the journey itself—the waiting, the exploring, the feeling—is where beauty lives. That’s why the track is chill, meditative, but deep; it’s meant to mirror that emotional path.
