'Empty', the latest EP from composer William Ryan Fritch, is an album of deceptively simple songs that, with their raw and unrestrained conveyance, emanate persuasive warmth and candor. The stripped down and restrained arrangements of these tracks are brought into extreme focus, saturating each note, thud, and pause with an expansive depth of field. These intimate songs proudly show their bruises. They offer stability in their numerous creaks and rasps, find clarity in common disillusionment, and celebrate loving and morbid tangents in the same breath.

This EP, which will be released digitally November 11th, is the most recent installment in Lost Tribe Sound’s expansive subscription series of Fritch’s music; an endeavor that will see 10 albums (6 1/2 hours of new music ) released in a span of less than nine months. In addition to this ambitious spate of records, his celebrated collaborative project with drummer Jon Mueller (Volcano Choir), Death Blues 'Ensemble' was released on September 23rd.

'Empty' will be available for purchase as a digital EP November 11th. It will also be included as a bonus download card to those who purchase the Deluxe LP Book of 'Revisionist', the epic final installment of William Ryan Fritch's Subscription Series coming in early 2015.
