soft lights came together while i was still figuring out the sound of the EP. i was working on a melodic, driving instrumental when ren sent over a topline, and the moment I tried blending them, it just locked in. there was a certain energy to it, emotional but steady and his voice brought a depth that pushed the whole track forward. after playing it live a few times and feeling how it resonated, it was clear it had a place on the project. Grateful it found its space.
