Luzi Tudor - Into Me See

Alex H is both an established artist and an up-and-comer in the world of progressive house. He’s no stranger to fans of progressive house, and certainly no stranger to Dissident Music. With releases on labels like Silk, Enhanced, and Black Hole, Alex H is a man on the rise in 2023. We’re excited to welcome him back to Dissident for this landmark release! “Sip Your Poison” first appeared on Dissident’s Miami 2023 compilation, and now it sees a full release with three incredible remixes by two incredible remixers. Ranj Kaler is a UK-based producer and DJ known for his dynamic and energetic sound. With releases on Manual Music, Pro B Tech. Late Night Music, Capital Heaven, and of course DIssident, Kaler has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of progressive house. After a run of successful breaks releases, his remix of "Sip Your Poison" returns to his house roots and adds a new level of intensity and drive to the original mix. Also included is a dub from Ranj: we think it’s just the sort of twisted goodness you’re looking for! Panayiotis Tassis is a Greek producer and DJ with a passion for lush soundscapes and emotive melodies. His music has been released on labels such as Soundgarden, Sudbeat, Ugenius, Cocoon, and yes, here at Dissident, where he is becoming a regular contributor to the ever-unfolding Dissident saga. His remix of "Sip Your Poison" takes the original into deeper and more introspective territory, with a focus on intricate sound design and textured melodies all coalescing over a deep and rumbling kick and bass. This is essential dancefloor stuff!

French producer Jats makes his Purified Records debut with his 3-track ‘Rituals of Dreams’ EP. Showcasing his powerful sound, this EP demands attention from the very first beat, exploring captivating soundscapes from the title track into ‘The Perfect Sky’, and ‘Lost Planet’.

The ‘Rituals of Dreams’ artwork features a stunning photograph of a zebra shark, captured by Daniel Nicholson. The zebra shark is a distinct shark species that inhabits shallow coral reef areas in tropical waters. Their unique adaptations include barbels for locating prey, a flexible body for navigating tight spaces and the ability to suck up prey with their small mouths and strong gill muscles. As they mature, they undergo a change in appearance, transforming from dark brownish with yellowish stripes as juveniles, to small black dots on a tan body. Zebra sharks are nocturnal foragers, hunting on small prey like fish, snails, sea urchins, crabs and invertebrates in crevices. They can grow to almost 12 feet in length and have few natural predators. Their main threat is human activities such as fishing for their meat, liver and fins. They are listed as endangered according to the IUCN.

Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

The ‘Chronicles 24’ artwork displays a photograph of a pair of jellyfish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Jellyfish come in a variety of types, from the massive Lion’s Mane jellyfish with tentacles over 100 feet long to the tiny, nearly invisible Irukandji, each with unique adaptations suited to their environment. By studying these diverse species, scientists can learn about efficient swimming mechanics, bio-luminescence, and even advanced healing processes, as jellyfish possess remarkable regenerative abilities. Additionally, some jellyfish, like the Turritopsis dohrnii, exhibit biological immortality, offering insights into aging and cellular regeneration that could have implications for human health research.
