The opening tune of disc number 2 of the Songspired 01 compilation is ‘Haen feat. Lewyn - For Love’. With organic guitars and smooth kick drums this production will create the perfect mood to relax and groove to. The outstanding vocals from Lewyn complement the astounding production from India based Haen. The remixes come from Boy North who’s making waves after various big releases including one on Songspire named ‘The Old You’ and Banaati who has an original coming up on the label soon. ‘For Love’ is well underway to be one of the favorites of 2021.

Welcoming three new producers to the imprint, Purified presents the sixth installment of Purified Fragments. Taking listeners on a melodic voyage, the compilation begins with Polar Inc.’s blissful cut, ‘Firmoral’. Josh Lawrence’s ‘Atraxia’ enters a deeper dimension with a heavy bassline, juxtaposed with spacey synths. Flowing into Alex Daniell’s ‘Floating Embers’, this aptly titled cut draws the EP to a close, as it journeys across a laidback breakbeat arrangement.

A melting pot of deep house, progressive and trance, ‘This Is Not Our Universe’ also boasts a lineup of eclectic vocalists.
The album includes an evergreen remix of alt-J’s hit ‘Breezeblocks’, recent single ‘Lost’ feat. Run Rivers, and slow-burning festival smash ‘Need You’ alongside regular collaborator Thomas Oliver.

Echoes of Pryda and Timo Maas can be heard on instrumentals ‘The Walk’ and ’Neko’, while fans of the duo’s recent outings on Anjunabeats’ sister label Anjunadeep will enjoy ‘Vanishing’ (feat Run Rivers) and ‘Lullaby’ (feat Helsoot).

“This is actually our first album together. Our characters are quite different. This album is the result of those two different characters and the tension that arises in the search for the balance between the two of us. It is, as it were, a collection of ingredients with which we show that we are happy with the differences between them. The album also represents diversity. Many tracks on the album have the same character but are still different from each other. A nice reflection of how we are as people.”
