We're delighted to present a new EP by Sound Quelle on our parent label, the second to arrive on Silk Music this year by the phenomenally talented Russian veteran. An artist who is capable of writing textured and emotive music in numerous sub genres of electronic, Sound Quelle has chosen progressive as his medium of artistic expression this time around.

Already supported on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" radio show, "Piece of Cake" jets out of the gate with a stormy groove and an ominous soundscape. Specifically, a haunting vocal sample soars above a beautiful piano motif. In the second half of the track, a roaring drop gives the track a ferocious, club-oriented rhythm. The next track, "Dusk", is also an up-tempo affair, featuring an uplifting chord progression and vocal stab sequence. A memorable lead theme in the main break is processed with an innovative delay effect, and the inspired drop to follow is also suitable for the dancefloor. Rounding out the EP, "Marmalade" is a much deeper cut, centering on a funky bassline. A signature theme of the track is a pitched-down vocal sample, which gently punctuates the summer-flavored groove.

We have another return on the label this week as longtime friend of the label, French native Cosmaks makes his way back to Progressive House Worldwide. As always, we are excited to see him make his way back inside our PHW family as he’s been a producer we always have had an admiration for. Through his thoughtful melodic productions, packed with soothing melodic layering and ever surprisingly textures, he once more takes his A-game to the label. 

Through the title track “Second Breath” you are to get a full on journey of melodic progresive music. This is wrapped up with tons of emotion, melodic layering and driving elements to make you dream of the summer season, no question about that. 

Through “New Era” we hear another melody driven progressive act, so ready to turn heads and bring on smiles through the summer season. With brilliant and emotional melodic textures, Cosmaks once more proves his great taste and production skills in our genre. It’s just another superb, warm and dreamy progressive EP from this in fame rising producer, beast is the least we can say!
