Mit einem liebevollen Ahoi, begrüßen wir in unserer heutigen Ausgabe des 60 Zoll.Cast das Nordlicht Julién (@julien_accent_aigu). Genau wie wir schlägt er musikalisch weder einen bestimmten Kurs ein, noch richtet er sich nach bestimmten Tempi-(Limits) sondern mag es gerne bunt.... am liebsten von allem etwas! Auf Open-Airs gerne fetziger, zuhause im Lockdown gerne gemütlicher.

Ob mal schnell und düster oder leichtlebig und zerstreut bewegt sich das heute mitgebrachte Set irgendwo dazwischen: Es verlässt gemütlich den mit Möwen umherschwirrenden Hafen und lädt später die nach durchtanzten Nächten sehnenden Beine zum Mitwippen auf dem Sonnen-Deck ein.

Das Set ist im Februar im Rahmen eines Soli-Streams von den KollegInnen der Lotenheim-Crew (@lotenheim) entstanden.

The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes from the this genius from Germany @maxseeger

About this mix he reveals: The genesis of this podcast is rather unusual. I fell in love with Mâhfoud's track "I Wish I Met You Sooner, My Enemy" for expressing so beautifully what it feels like to come to the resolution of a long inner struggle. I knew I wanted to create a mix which represents that feeling and closes on this track. So the whole set was then planned in reverse, from closing to opening, building up the tension throughout, ending in a beautiful, harmonic resolution. Hope you enjoy the journey!

Seeger has a rich and diverse musical background of playing various instruments such as piano, drums, and guitar in genres ranging from punk rock to jazz. After moving to Berlin he quickly got addicted to the city's heartbeat of electronic music and inevitably started producing and djing himself. His musically crafted mixes always stay true to his background and reveal his love for organic sounds and groovy, melodic songs.

"Thank you so much for the invitation to be part of One Night Only event. It was an honor and a pleasure to contribute to such a memorable evening. I must admit, I felt a bit of pressure on warm up duties, but it pushed me to craft a set that I hope resonated with the audience. Drawing inspiration from the unique soundscape of the night, I focused on creating an atmosphere with fat basslines and darker tones, all while keeping the essential tambors that are always present in my sets. My goal was to maintain a sense of movement and ensure everyone could still feel the rhythm, setting the stage for the melodic techno journey that Dom so masterfully led. This event will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for opening your hearts and hands, and allowing me to be a part of this incredible experience."

Ohh du liebes Meeresrausch Festival, 

wir hatten so unendlich viel Spaß mit dir! Wohin man auch blickte, überall nur wunderschöne Menschen, traumhafte Natur und dazu noch dieser Kinckerlitzchen Floor - einfach nur wow. Eben auf genau diesem zauberhaften Floor hatten mein liebster Steffen Ukkat und ich die große Ehre am Sonntag in den Sonnenaufgang hinein zu spielen, dass war einfach unbeschreiblich. Und egal wo es uns in diesem Festival - Sommer noch so hin verschlagen wird, die Erinnerungen an diesen einzigartigen Moment werden wir auf alle Zeiten tief in unserem Herzen tragen.
