These are tracks that are mostly finished. 
I am unhappy with some or most of the lead guitar work, dislike the fake drums and bass lines need further refinement. 

The next step will be to put together a band and refine the songs with the band.

Tomb of Reality.short version

This is "Gates" and it is Track 3 from my upcoming music project titled Tomb of Reality. 
This is an newer version. The leads on this version are better, but it still has some way to go.

3.Tomb of Reality.Gates

This is the song Years written recorded by me named Years. Its from the upcoming music project Tomb of Reality. 

Originally the song was well over 8 minutes long. I split it into two 4 minute plus songs: "Zombie" and "Years". 

I think I have a better version of this will upload soon.

7.Tomb of Reality.Years

This is a new section for an upcoming song called Speedy [working title] that I am currently working on. I performed all of the instruments except the drums. It features one guitar hard left one guitar hard right, one melody guitar, bass, drums and synth. The drums were created in Fl Studio with EZ Drummer plugin and the Metalheads and DFH expansions. 
It is unfinished and a work in progress. 

Speedy

This song #10 from Tomb of Reality and it is a work in progress an incomplete version of the song Teasing for the upcoming album Tomb of Reality. It has some riffs in it that I like.

Teasing (Metal instrumental demo)

This is the song Zombie by Tom Gregory. Its the first half of a two parter. The other half is called Years. The song was getting close to 9 minutes to I split it. This is a newer edit. 

6.Tomb of Reality.Zombie

This is track #14 a rerecorded and sped up version of an upcoming song called Speedy [working title] that I am currently working on. I performed all of the instruments except the drums and bass guitar. Next version I will record with a real bass guitar. 

It features one guitar hard left, one guitar hard right, one melody guitar, synth bass, and MIDI drums. The drums were created in Fl Studio with EZ Drummer plugin and the Metalheads and DFH expansions. 
It is an unfinished track and a work in progress.

There are still quite a bit of work left on this song. There several more riffs to add. Its several minutes long but cut it off in the middle because I need to rearrange the the parts, create new drums and rerecord. I used my Bugera 333XL and Marshall 4x12. 

Really rough early version of some riffs. No Bass guitar, just guitar and drums. Just recorded it with my first 7 string guitar.

ExoThrash (Thrash instrumental)

This is another death idea. A Saturday well spent. 

My recording setup is really simple and plain. The tracks are just Guitar, Guitar, Bass, Superior.  The guitar used was an ESP EC1000 hooked up to a Bugera 333 XL and a Behringer TO800. I used an SM57 microphone connected to a tube preamp.

Tom Gregory is a solo recording artist from Modesto, California.  In June of 2011 he decided to write several songs with the intention of completing an albums worth of material.

As a computer science major at a local college Tom keeps quite busy. He has been playing guitar for many years.  In June of 2011 Tom bought some recording gear and set out to record an album by himself, with the goal to finish before August, when the next semester started. He was disappointed having only completed seven songs before his deadline. 

Tom is influenced by Metallica, Exodus, Megadeth, Anthrax, Lamb of God, Machine head and Black Label Society. 

With no other musicians he created the drums in FL studio with Ez Drummer.
