All vinyl lovers will know the constant battle with the age-old enemy: The Post Office. Slips not left. Surly staff. No ID. “It’s a record, yeah like an old record like black thing. Yeah , them lads.” This war of attrition takes on a new mantle when faced with Correos, Spain’s postal service that would give the Soviet Union a run for its money when it comes to queues.

Robbie found himself sleuthing from one post office to another to track down some of the audio treats that are on offer for this month’s WE FORFEIT. Beautiful warm electronics come care of Ireland’s Derek Carr before we dip into the colder machinations of Morphology. Digging into the past, Arne Weinberg and John Shima give a taster of the wonderful diametric. before more new arrivals care of 030303. Cold Blow and Suction.

Although Spain’s postal service may have issues, the electronic music talent of Iberia has none. Moy’s new 12” on the Masa Series is superb with Promising/Youngster following with a mixlet of No Moon and Cultivated Electronics.

Chris has been on duty in Valencia with his recent translation work for Alessandro Adriani when Mannequin’s boss played in Killing Time. As ever, we’ve searched high and low for techno with Chris unearthing Transmigration alongside some classics form Djax-Up-Beats. No content with one Alessandro, Chris was also translating for Alessandro Parisi at a recent Frigio Showcase in Valencia, the Italian sound sculptor represented with two tracks.
