A sketch of a random idea that occured whilst trying to work out how to play improvised live loop sets that are consistent enough to be considered songs but chaotic enough to be unique each time they are performed.

The approach  and sound is inspired by/liberally stolen from acts including Download, Future Sound of London and Autechre.

glitzsche - hymenoptera

Finally fleshed out a demo idea I created a while ago. 

The Ableton Live set that created this demo heavily abuses the "Follow Action" function. This means that each live plaback with be slightly different, sitting part way between a modular generative performance and a clip performance. 

The approach facilitates live performance of this and other tracks which will never quite be identical.
