Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

The 81st release welcomes Esteban Ikasovic to the label with his "Equinox EP". Hailing from Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist first appeared on the progressive music scene in February of last year with a release on Estribo Records. After this he had releases on labels such as One Of Kind, Stellar Fountain, Soundteller Records & Dopamine White.

Esteban Ikasovic - Equinox [Future Avenue]

New name to the scene Esteban Ikasovic enters the Manual Music family with a release on their infamous MNL label.

The Argentinian artist kicks things off with the very infectious 'Natural Balance', a track that will get your feet moving right from the very beginning and won't stop until it's all played out.

Nantais & Hazendonk join forces once again, this time on remix duties to take the title track in a more tribal direction. No mercy here as the relentless drums give it a bit of an oldschool feel whilst the bassline and vocal snippets bring it into the roaring 20's.

'Holly' is the deepest cut of this release and brings a nice balance after the two more peak time versions of 'Natural Balance'. This is a tune for the dreamers, and a perfect way to end Esteban Ikasovic' MNL debut.

We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. The second part of the „Diorama“ remixes offers again some of the finest producers around. Starting with Kollektiv Turmstrasse! What kicks off as a Chez Damier groove makes the transition into a loose dub monster. Collecting traces of the original sound and dispersing them with magic movements we see why Kollektiv Turmstrasse are a top act. Shifting the attention from the front to the far back from the obvious to the abstract... Turmstrasse create that parallel groove on top of the groove which seems to tighten up with every minute. Fine particles of sounds are sprayed onto the relentless groove and make it a real crowd pleaser.
