Ever wondered about the process of writing a short cue for a game/movie? How did the composer end up with the final product and why did (s)he choose to write it the way (s)he did?

Here's how Memories from The Silent Spy came about. I used the original description from the producers and wrote a song that was turned down because it was not exactly in the style they were looking for. Then came a few others until we finally agreed on the melody line. Then some brushing up until the final product was ready to be plugged into the game.

I created this montage of all the different versions to show you the entire process that a 1-minute song often goes through unless we nail it in the first go.
