First foray into a more stream-of-thought style of writing, influenced by bands like Elder. This song is about the scene in the original 1986 Transformers: The Movie, where Astrotrain asks his passenger crew to "Jettison some weight", and Starscream hurls the near-lifeless body of his leader out the side bay and into the endless space.

This song was recorded entirely in Logic Pro X, using its Logic Drummer to perform the drums, and also employs Positive Grid's BIAS FX Pro for the guitars and bass processing. It is considered an advanced demo and not at all final.

Guitars and bass are tuned to drop D-flat/C#.

A Call to the Sea is a story about traveling to a marvelous place or two, after being led on by a sound coming from the ocean, told by a sentient being of inorganic composition.  The story is told in three parts, a) The Ferry that awoke something in our traveler, b) arriving at the Bay of the Leatherback, and c) the final destination, Isle Opuntia.

This song is for anyone who has gone to such a place, and longs to return.
