Tresor Records is glad to present the Disintegrating Sand EP, first release by the legendary Mike Parker on the label.
Parker has been an influential figure in the electronic music scene for more than twenty years, throughout which he has established an arsenal of unique sonic trademarks, produced and modulated with high precision.

True to Mike Parker’s traditional style, Disintegrating Sand is both driving and hypnotic. The EP’s title track is especially evocative of Parker’s penchant for analogue sound: raw oscillations cascade over a highly reverbed bassline that periodically punctuates the track. Though the electricity that Parker introduces on the A side intensifies and expands in "Angels in Cages", "Gyroscopic Precession" is perhaps the apogee of the build up and the most driving track on the EP. The track is nuanced in its steady introduction of sweeping effects that arch over heavy kicks and an abrasive midrange.

Parker’s abstractions of sound and texture are immediately recognizable to contemporary audiences, and his latest EP marks a particularly thrilling addition to a rich discography.

Originally released on vinyl by R&S in 1994, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ was re-earthed in 2016 by Nina Kraviz and Ricardo Villalobos, becoming a secret weapon on dancefloors 22 years after its original release. On December 16, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ gets its first digital release on R&S.
 
Josh Wink has always been ahead of musical trends and walks his own path in dance music. From a young age Wink was exposed to different mysticism and consciousness philosophies. “It wasn’t a big, popular or trendy thing to do at the time, but I was 14 and just did what my mother did… Releasing tracks like ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ and ‘Higher States of Consciousness’, people looked at me as being this deeply profound spiritual guy, but I never really thought about it in that way, even though I’m really into repetitive, transcendental and meditative rhythms. I don’t do drugs, so I never really had another outlet to get into alternative states.” – Josh Wink (taken from recent Mixmag article).

Tresor Records is proud to present club resident Claudia Anderson’s new work “Synthesis”, as the first EP to be charted into its fabled catalog in 2019.

Claudia Anderson lives in Vienna where she gained experience at local raves and underground clubs, before becoming a Tresor resident in 2017.

In 2012, Anderson joined Singular, the Paris label headed by Tresor resident and recording artist Marcelus. “Hysteria” was celebrated as one of the most subtly produced records that year. Three years later, she followed with on Singular with “Liquid Forms”, pushing the definition of the deep forms of Techno which have become integrant part of her signature.

Since then, Tresor has worked closely with Claudia Anderson to develop her first treads on the label. The label’s 2017 “Dreamy Harbor” compilation featured Anderson’s track “Phase” next to luminaries such as Jon Hassell, Moritz von Oswald or Donato Dozzy, revealing an ever more hypnotic side of her work.

In a new step, and through the five tracks that build “Synthesis”, Claudia Anderson shows a sense of aplomb, that stands in balance with her natural and subtle sense of restraint.

Tresor.307 releases on 180g. 12" vinyl and digital on February 22nd, 2019.

20 releases! That is no small achievement!
Greyscale wishes to thank it's loyal listeners with a special treat from their founder. grad_u went deep into the archive and has collected 12 unreleased before tracks ranging from 2006 to 2016. This goes back to the time of his very first releases up through to the beginnings of the Mood Series! In those 10 years there is a lot of various sides to the grad_u sound that this highlight's. From powerful bangers like 'Helix' and 'Nuclear Reactor' to dancefloor gems such as 'Biomechanics' and 'DX'. Then there are sure fire winners for the tech fans with 'Vacuum Cleaner' and 'Machine'. grad_u hasn't forgot those that love it extra deep with 'Taip Laukiu' and 'Bounce 06'. There is also a few special checkpoints along the way in this release that will help you bookmark all these great tracks. Greyscale continues the run of great music in 2020 with the Mood Series #21. Newcomers Aura Minimum and Flying Cobra are the latest artist's to leave their touch on the series. 'Currents' is the title of the EP which features three segments of hypnotizing and texture-laden dub techno. In 'Current I' the melody triumphantly shines through the dense atmosphere of a torrential downpouring while being driven by powerful bass notes. 'Current II' focuses on the space inside the elements as a true experimentation in dub sounds. Be prepared to soak in its atmospheric. Lastly, part three chuggs along nicely with its heavy phased chords of dizzying heights. All three parts of Current will leave you soaked in a dub filled ecstacy.

The alien scenario was unfolding very dynamically, so the daring pilgrims decided to look into one quaint place where you can hide from the universal bustle, take a breath and enjoy the spatial modeling. By the way, it helps to recover after critical overloads through fine motor skills.
Welcome to the heavenly body "Orlan 19". Once it was assigned an ordinal number, and it got this name because of its ultra-low gravity. Obviously, this "dwarf" became an attraction and just a recreational area for many nomads. Its atmosphere is literally packed with thoughtfully hovering objects of various configurations. A kind of metaphysical equilibrium. Here it is customary to not only enjoy the abundance of entertainment, but also the thoughts about where the consciousness leads us in search of its home.
Deftly juggling patterns, the technologist grabbed an experimental sample labeled RTW1350, which, thanks to its composition and consistency, easily gives the appearance of a basketball.

In 2019, Thomas founded the dub-techno label Spacelunch (@spclnch), whose direction correlates with his worldview and has no formal criteria. The concept is dominated by a distinct house texture of different shades. Both projects are accompanied by thematic illustrations and fascinating stories.
