This theme was a blast to make. The only thing that sucked was to get the clarinets right, and that's what took the longest. AND, shoutout to @wisteriabirdstudios , @scaryfunanimatons-200 , and @MK_Inst for helping me find the Prophet 2000 harp samples, as well as @oliver11gwr for his amazing Derek instrumental reference. This means a lot, and you should check 'em out and their own works! Anyway, enjoy this one!

Derek's Theme - Season 5

Hello everyone, and here's another music track from me! Today, we have the runaway theme from season 5 as it was heard in the episode "A Surprise for Percy", and I made this after hearing AceofTrains's incredible score for "Incline Thomas" that he composed, which features the runaway theme in it! Because I was inspired by his really accurate recreations of the themes, it inspired me to make this track as accurate as I possibly can! Also, I'd find a better promotional picture from "A Surprise for Percy" for this track, possibly one of the trucks running away with Sir Topham Hatt and Bertie chasing them, but no promotional photos exist of that, so have a picture of a troublesome truck from its Take-Along card, which features a picture from the same episode, just at a different time, when the trucks first break away from Percy and roll down the hill. Anyways, this track was originally created on July 24th, 2023, and was updated on November 22nd, 2023. I hope you enjoy it!

Here's the Opening Theme (for real this time) I had to go back and redo every instrument coz the leadless ver. I did a while back just used the same midi as the Right On Time theme. Also added the beginning bit from the credits ver. because it just felt incomplete without it.

So Im going on hiatus, again. SoundCloud isn't going great, it feels like with each track i upload, there's less and less plays, less and less interaction plus i dont really enjoy making Thomas music anymore. My YouTube channel is basically (almost) dead, i have over 600 subs an i struggle to get past 40 views. Plus im constantly loosing passion for creating thomas content in general. So yeah.
