TCC 10 - Bright Spark

Here's a completely original theme I made for Rheneas! I wanted this to sound cinematic and sort of like the intro to a news broadcast, since Rheneas is such a gallant engine. Additionally, in my series, Rheneas hosts his own news broadcast.

To get that cinematic effect, I tried to use a few modulations, some non-diatonic chords (namely bVI and bVII), as well as using the timpani instead of a pizzicato bass.

Here's the background music from when James does his BMQ delivery with Toad. I love the chord progression of James' theme. I really enjoyed using percussion to create an industrial sort of feeling, and weaving so many themes into James' (see if you can guess them all)!

Thomas' New Trucks Theme - Season 9

In a similar vein to my Viaduct theme, this was utilizing the simple ditty that was the original Autumn theme in the TV show and making a song out of it. Completed in June of 2018.

I noticed how there was a distinct lack of Toby theme recreations on youtube so I decided to make this. What started out as just a remake of the original theme became a full-blown Jupiter version of the classic Singalong.
