For this one, we've gone above and beyond any possible expectations. In fact, we've decided to ask one of the most respectful, talented and committed Trance artists to join our music philosophy by remixing a track of our back-catalogue.

As a result, we are extremely delighted to announce Thomas Datt as our next artist with a sensational remix of Dark Matter's track "Dragons Tear" that will blow your mind.

It’s been 3 years since Thomas Datt stepped away from the music world, and after doing some soul searching he is finally ready to make his grand return with what he calls Next-Level music.

This is music that comes from a place of higher consciousness, that takes you on a multidimensional ride through time and space, sprinkled with a powerful activation for the Third Eye.

A truly breathtaking and healing experience that is much sought after in the music world.

This one has been buzzing around as an ID for a few months, first surfacing at Solarstone's Open To Close (in Dolby Atmos) at Ministry of Sound back in January. It is a deep and dark sultry affair, which moves at a sedate 126pm. The backstory; Gordey, having previously released the majestic Radiance on Pure Prog back in 2016, sent Opacity as a demo to Solarstone, who saw within the demo a glimmer of something truly glorious, if only the track could be stripped down and reassembled with a clear intention; maximum impact in a big, dark fog-filled room - lit only by strobes. The impact of this track on the floor can't be overstated, and the key-change twist which hits at 6 minutes in is a work of art.

Released in August 2018 on Forescape Digital, You Are My Salvation created a moment of beautifully uplifting trance with "Breeze." Now returning to the Swedish artist's track, remixes come courtesy of Rafael Osmo and Thomas Datt.

An artist with a strong musical pedigree, Thomas Datt has been at the vanguard of the modern trance scene for over 15 years. Initial success with "2v2" saw the Polish star feature on compilations by Tiësto and Paul Van Dyk. Going on to receive the plaudits and respect of fans and peers alike, Datt has seen his music signed to an array of blue-chip labels that include Future Sound of Egypt, Black Hole Recordings, ARVA and Anjunabeats. Regularly supported by the trance DJ elite, his work is also touted by everyone from Max Graham and Ferry Corsten to Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond. 

The Kolberg native now debuts on Yang with a glorious interpretation of "Breeze" that bristles with energy and shimmering melodic lines. Paying tribute to You Are My Salvation's work, the fast-paced track evolves immaculately with its intelligently crafted motifs and spine-tingling breakdown. Erupting into life in its third movement, Thomas Datt's skill and technique is in full evidence as chest-thumping kicks and rapid-fire percussion create an absolute dancefloor stormer.

Etasonic and his Mystairium alias bring us a release designed for this period of quarantine we find ourselves in, due to the covid-19 pandemic that has frozen the world.

The Depressive Mix will capture how you feel stuck at home due to fear of contracting or spreading the disease - unable to go out to see friends & family, unable to go to work or school. This is an emotional uplifting trancer for when you are alone and bored, trapped by the walls around you and unable to live life.

The second track is the Active Mix. It speeds up the tempo to 140 bpm and boosts the energy. This represents the next stage, when you can start living your life again. You finally leave home, but you have to keep 2 meters away from others, and you have to wear a mask everywhere you go

Finally, the Mystairium Ambient Mix is a mysterious ambient soundscape. It is eerie. As the track goes on, time will disappear and you'll lose yourself in the sounds that flow back and forth around you.

Polish producer Grande Piano has been steadily surging through the Trance ranks recently with a number of high quality & well received productions across the Trance spectrum. The next track from the highly anticipated comes courtesy of Trance stalwart Grande Piano, who crafts an impressive melodic 'Iron Angels'.

Combining a exceptionally smooth mid-section with flowing, subtle synth leads, 'Iron Angels' delivers a fresh take on Sundance Recordings's traditional uplifting sound with a concoction of classic sounds, crisp production and engrossing atmospherics.

Completing the release is SounEmot & Iberian's take on Grande Piano's original which reimagines the track whilst retaining the vintage and allure of the original. SounEmot & Iberian's remix brings 'Iron Angels' with soaring leads folded into energetic rolling basslines that's sure to get feet moving and hands in the air. An emotional builds is clearly on display here.
