Bio: 

Arcanum Radio is back with his 12th show, on an hybrid format mix (vinyl and digital) in charge of Artro as special guest. Born in San José, Costa Rica. Artro has been involved in sound for almost 20 years now. As a drummer, Djing, producing his own sounds and field recordings for different purposes, Artro has been dedicating his time and energy to different forms of art. Based in Costa Rica he works in his studio named Trial Und Error inside the first Central American electronic music record store and distributor. He travels around the globe with different approaches to sound that go from Ambient, breaks, micro, minimal, house, Electro, dub, techno, acid, IDM to name some examples. He's been releasing music since 2012 and is co-founder of microminimal records and creator of the first electronic music record store/studio/distribution in Central America, Sala Sinestesia. 

Artro has different variations to sound when curating events, it depends on the concept, whom he plays with, the people and the place. His music is a passage through different emotions and experiences from every now and then. It has textures full of life and patterns that connect everything, organicity and constant elements that feel as currents of rhythm.

All this treated with a fine selection of hand picked records and digital released and unreleased music from friends and himself. Artro has also been experimenting with a live audiovisual performance. Music and his vibe has taken him to cure podcasts, events, festivals, radio FM and more in places like Nicaragua, Honduras, Beijing, Houston, New York, Panamá, Chengdu, Qingdaoh, Honduras, El Salvador, Colombia and all around Costa Rica. Spaces such as Club Vertigo, Antik, Club Retrovisor, TBA Brooklyn, Club Retrovisor, Menos1, Ocaso Festival to name a few. 

He has been releasing music since 2011 with his first EP Obtalá after that on Half Seas Over (Costa Rica), DZB Records (Spain), Beatamin Recordings, SLOH/Handcrafted Label, Impresión Label, Dul Recordings, Múltiple Música, soon to release on vinyl with Taimur Agha from  and more material on the way for this ever experimenting musician.

An international affair here as Mexico based Andy Woldman teams up with Russian Katrin Souza to drop their collaborative single 'Fragile Star' on the Dutch Manual Music imprint.

Andy's music has found its way to legendary labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Perfecto, ICONYC and Black Hole Recordings to name a few, whilst Katrin is making waves lately with releases on Yin, Yang, Spring Tube, Freegrant Music and more recently remixing Robert Babicz for JEE Productions and launching her KSTP project on Manual Music- which makes 'Fragile Star' her return to the label.

On remix duties we welcome Eric Rose and Ivan Aliaga who both give their very own interpretation, turning things up a notch to please the melodic techno lovers.
