My old friend Steven Pearl is one of the world's best joke writers, and we share a love of vaudeville and early comedy.  He wrote this parody about one of our fav comedy writers Sidney Fields and I sang and recorded it for fun.

My first songwriting partner Jeff Root and I wrote our first album IDIOTS DELIGHT in the 70's. This is a song I recorded for it on two stereo tape recorders connected by Jeff's mixer. There was so much hiss from the over-dubs, I ran it through suno.com and added a string orchestra. Still need to fix the opening and add a bass part.
