If the sounds of Gainsbourg, King Krule, Chet Baker and the Strokes, strike a chord with you, meet French artist, Thomas Guerlet. Guerlet writes, composes, produces, and performs, both in English and in French, with a raspy crooner’s voice backed by soothing jazz harmonies.

Signed on the Zuma Music label, he released his newest single "The Derailer” on June 11. A modern pop ballad where delicate vocals glide on heady piano keys, Thomas shares his "sweet anger" over a game of seduction he shouldn't have fallen into. Within the harmony, there lies a joyful melancholy which makes us dance with wet eyes.

"The Derailer” unravels the mysterious universe of the young artist whose suave and grainy vocals embody a lighthearted somberness; creating a perfectly balanced and intoxicating musical composition. A promising new single before revealing his first 9-track opus next October. The release is accompanied by a clip he produced in collaboration with Julie Baudu & Clément Castot, which illustrates the artist's love regrets over a dinner that "derails".
