Thomas Jang is a professional composer/arranger who studied classical music composition in university and graduate school in Seoul, Korea. He studied production and music business in a wide variety of contemporary genres at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.

He sights influences as diverse as French composers Francis Poulenc and Olivier Messiaen, to Jerry Goldsmith and Ennio Morricone as musical mentors, and he strives to meld his influences into a unique and accessible vision of his own. 

Thomas has studied music composition since he was sixteen years old. He has been composing and arranging classical orchestras and ensembles for over twenty years. In addition to his classical experience, he is now specializing in atmospheric music with modern electronic and ambient sounds on his acoustic works.

Thomas Jang’s sound is unique and accessible, a direct result of his experience with a variety of cultures and his extensive musical background and training. From classical orchestra to modern electronica sounds, counterpoint to minimalism, Thomas Jang’s music is a compelling vision and soundscape.
