“Uneasy” is one of those songs where I let myself be completely honest about the tension you feel when someone has power over you emotionally, even if they don’t fully realize it, or they pretend they don’t.

The whole track sits in that space between wanting someone and being uncomfortable with how much they can pull you around. It’s about attraction mixed with confusion, desire mixed with vulnerability. That feeling where someone teases you, tests you, pushes your buttons… and you still keep coming back for more.

In the first verse, I’m admitting that people around me kind of expect me to fall apart, or fall into old habits, so whatever happens “tonight” feels like it’s on me alone. It’s that moment where you’re almost warning someone, I’m here, I’m open, but don’t hold this against me.

The chorus is where the real theme comes out:
they’re playing with me emotionally, pulling me in just enough to keep me hooked, but not enough to give clarity. There’s this sense of being pulled on a leash, of wanting it even though it’s messing with me. I’m craving that connection, but it doesn’t feel stable, it feels like a fever, like something I can’t shake.

And in the second verse, I’m calling out the game:
they’re doing things just to see if I’ll react.
Testing me.
Watching me.
But I’m trying to stay composed, trying not to show how deep it actually hits me… while still desperately wanting to know what’s really going on between us.

Overall, “Uneasy” is about the tension of wanting someone who toys with your emotions, and the messy truth that sometimes we chase what makes us feel unbalanced, because it also makes us feel alive. It’s the sound of desire, confusion, and vulnerability all tangled together.
