My Little Hero

Bushfire Moon was written during the Australian bushfires and inspired by a Koala that escaped the fires and was found on a fence post next to the house (friend’s place).  It was hard to believe anything could survive that fire.  You can feel the sadness of the story in the music and yet feel the seductiveness of the red moon that has a haunting beauty in the face of devastation.  The musical style crosses into the jazz world.
