Street Pharmacology

This is a live performance of a reading through an assignment called "Extensions and Collisions". The premise of the assignment was to take two "slices" from Beethoven's String Quartet No. 11 in F Minor and then build a composition based on those.

Extensions and Collisions (Live)

This was an assignment to write a short aria. I went with a custom text:

Today, I walked to forty-second street. I stared into a window.
I'd silence all of Midtown for a chance to hear your voice.
If there was one thing I could change, I would take back every word I said. 
Every day is the same and I'm lonely here without you in my bed. 
The summer has come again, but every day it rains. 
How wonderful my life would be if I could take back every word I said. 
All but three: "I love you".
