In a private message, I was criticized for doing a Prince cover. This person stated, "  I don't think the late great would appreciate you taking his song to self promote your page so close to his death date. The only person that has benefit from your cover is you and those involved at this point. You're cover is displayed publicly at a tacky point in time. Period."

Prince is by far my favorite artist and I know that he did not mind fans singing his songs. He says so himself in this interview.
