Powel has been a part of the Bespoke Musik family since nearly the beginning, when we invited him to NY for his first gig outside of Germany back in 2014. Over the years, he has consistently been one of the most sought-after Producers in deep house / electronica with releases on a multitude of labels including All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, and our very own Bespoke Musik. He is also an artist whom we consider to be one of the finest DJs in the world.

An expert at creating harmonious illusions of sound, Germany’s Powel always finds a way to thread together natural elegance and tasteful patience in music.

Having learned the piano at a young age and subsequently performed regularly with bands and even an orchestra, Powel’s palette of music has a vast and thorough foundation that is influenced by the people and places he comes across during his visits. The sound artist’s unique touch as a musician is heard in how he captures warm, celestial vibes filled with airy atmospheres together with delicate rhythms and tells a melancholic story fused with ghostly, low-slung cuts that are rich with nuance and subtlety.

Powel steadily explores this duality in sounds not only throughout his discography but in his performances around the world which include his annual performance on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man and residencies with the All Day I Dream family around renowned guru Lee Burridge as well as Behrouz’ intimate home in Miami, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, and one of the finest institutions in New York City, Bespoke Musik.

Biotop proudly welcomes Thomas Stieler back to the label with a massive 4-tracker called ‘Free Zone’. The Munich-based artist is well-known for his quality productions on top labels such as Rotary Cocktail and Freude am Tanzen. Now he’s back on Biotop for some serious dance floor entertainment.

Thomas started the machines in his brand-new home studio, which now features a major upgrade: daylight. Inspired by the brightness and several classic vinyl goodies, he dove deep into his jackin’ trademark grooves and moody synth lines. The new studio environment led Thomas to a productive state and creative flow he never experienced before - his very own Free Zone. The logical consequence of such positive vibrations in the studio, Thomas' new EP is excellent house music full of light atmospheres and functional driving grooves.
