Med aftalen om endnu strammere regler for statsborgerskab har udlændingeminister Mattias Tesfaye sat VLAK-partierne skakmat: Ganske vist har Venstre, Konservative og Liberal Alliance fået trukket S-regeringen yderligere til højre, men det er Socialdemokratiet, som indkasserer den politiske gevinst. Med Mattias Tesfaye i spidsen har S-regeringen nu fået slået fast, at de mener strammerkursen for alvor – og da støttepartierne samtidig lægger afstand til ugens store aftale, er det dermed endegyldigt lykkedes for Socialdemokratiet at vriste sig fra af venstrefløjen i udlændingedebatten. Samtidig har det været en dårlig uge for de klassiske strammere: Det er gået fra slemt til værre for Morten Messerschmidt, der bedyrer, at han er uskyldig – men i næste uge vil et flertal ophæve hans immunitet. Er sagen kun et problem for Messerschmidt selv, eller vil de sidste DF-vælgere nu løbe skrigende bort? Og hvad med Naser Khader og hans sager om intimidering af kritikere? Kan Pape blive ved med at holde den sag ud i strakt arm? Thomas Qvortrup stiller spørgsmålene. Politisk kommentator Lars Trier Mogensen har svarene.

His books include "The Principle of Sufficient Reason: A Reassessment" (Cambridge University Press), "One Body: An Essay in Christian Sexual Ethics" (Notre Dame University Press), and "Actuality, Possibility and Worlds" (Continuum). His research areas include metaphysics, philosophy of religion, Christian ethics, philosophy of mathematics and formal epistemology.

Fr. Mariusz Tabaczek, O.P., is a Polish Dominican theologian. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophical theology from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA and Church Licentiate from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. He currently works as a professor of theology at the Angelicum in Rome, and as a researcher for the Angelicum Thomistic Institute.

Robert C. (“Rob”) Koons is a professor of philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin, where he has taught for 33 years. M. A. Oxford, Ph.D. UCLA. He is the author or co-author of four books, including: Realism Regained (Oxford University Press, 2000), and The Atlas of Reality: A Comprehensive Guide to Metaphysics, with Timothy H. Pickavance (Wiley-Blackwell, 2017). He is the co-editor (with George Bealer) of The Waning of Materialism (Oxford University Press, 2010), and co-editor (with Nicholas Teh and William Simpson) of Neo-Aristotelian Perspectives on Contemporary Science (Routledge, 2018). He has been working recently on an Aristotelian interpretation of quantum theory, on defending and articulating Thomism in contemporary terms, and on arguments for classical theism.
